When we played the 2nd song at one wedding - a father and daughter song - but the father died years ago in a tragic accident. The bride was deaf but her mum signed the lyrics to her as she danced. No one apart from the bride's mum and the band knew this was going to happen. That was incredible to witness.
Professional. Smiling. Non-stop. Impressive. Slick.
We've been going from strength to strength since 1993 and we still love what we do.
Take out wedding insurance. It's remarkably inexpensive. Over the years we seen a few weddings cancel for various reasons. Having a safety net to cover your spiralling costs is a must.
We've seen quite a few wedding cakes personalised with lookalike figures and little sculptures of the couple's pets on top.
After the initial enquiry we'd send you a detailed quote and free copy of our wedding CD - all with absolutely no obligation. We play every weekend, so if you'd like to see the band live we'd organise a date. If happy to proceed, then a 10% deposit and signed form would secure the booking. A month or so before the big day we'd be in touch regarding your personal tastes in music and ask you for a list of up to 20 of your own favourite songs. These can be absolutely any songs at all and we'd mix them in during the night.
Anything that's personal to you as a couple. This could be something slow and romantic or upbeat and quirky. As long as it means something to you.
Proud Mary
So many! Abba or AC/DC - and that's just bands beginning with "A". :-)
We're fans of so many styles of music but from our wedding band's point of view it would have ot be Dirty Dancing. "The Time of my Life" usually features near the end of our wedding dances - and always goes down well.
