What is your most memorable wedding?
Quite simply, I'm torn between both my Brother and my Sisters Weddings. Being involved in the planning and daytime activities was a complete joy, they trusted me from start to finish as I've spent the best part of 10 years in the Wedding industry. Obviously they didn't trust anyone else to take care of the music, so I actually performed at both Weddings! A great time with family and friends - with the top quality Unique service that hundreds of couples have already experienced.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, Memorable, Reliable, Fun and Professional!
What about your business are you most proud of?
My complete honesty and dedication from start to finish, I'm just down to earth and I 'keep it real'. I spend hours researching music and new techniques, to mix music and keep the crowd dancing. I really pride myself on my ability as a DJ and Entertainer. Selling additional extras for more profit isn't my priority - the perfect atmosphere in your chosen setting is!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make a clear list of what's most important to you and budget for it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The favourite personal touch I've provided was personalised Confetti during the First Dance. It was printed with the Newlyweds names/date on and the guests could take it home as a memory.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will happily chat over the phone or via email on the initial enquiry. Once we have established my availability, I usually like to meet couples in person to see exactly what they have in mind, I'm also not a complete stranger at your wedding then either! We can go through everything from start to finish and really personalise your booking with me. If you go ahead and book with me, a bit closer to the big day - I'll finalise your music choices. Then it's party time!
What makes a romantic first dance?
A song that makes you think of each other and means a lot to you as a couple - a cheeky kiss for the camera is always a good touch too (no tongues). (Oh! And lots of confetti ;-))
What is your number one floor-filler?
Difficult one...hmmm...I'd say....Earth Wind & Fire - September. Never fails.
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
Queen!
What is the soundtrack to your life?
Aretha Franklin - Respect. Always loved Aretha as an artist and role model - it's a really sassy tune too, always a crowd pleaser.
