What about your business are you most proud of?
That we run it all ourselves and we genuinely love what we do. That means we get to build relationships directly with our client couples, which supports delivering performances that are tailored and unique.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If a supplier is slow to answer emails or return your calls early in the process, nip that in the bud and make clear your communication expectations as a client.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Cider brewed for guests by the father of the bride from a little orchard in their garden.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Every couple is different but it always starts with a conversation where we'll ask loads of questions about your music tastes, who your guests are, and your vision for the big day and the live music; and just get to know you a bit more as a couple. From here we can start to build a picture of what you need from us. And then leading up to your big day we'll draft some song lists and refine these through dialogue and further conversations or email exchanges.
What makes a romantic first dance?
We've performed many and there's no magic formula; space for the couple, good lighting for photo's to capture the moment, and a song that is special to them.
What is your number one floor-filler?
Ooh, Mr Brightside by The Killers never ever fails!
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
Stan and Al say The Beatles circa Revolver, Ross says Blink 182 because of the drums!
What is the soundtrack to your life?
For two of us, the sound of young children nagging for snacks!
