We played a wedding on the SS Great Britain a few years ago which was really cool. Warwick Castle was another great experience! We also have played many weddings where we see previous couples who have started families...it's so nice to see.
Fun, lively, danceable, modern & classic!
Our real reviews from clients and seeing a couples first dance go from rehearsal to the real thing.
Book early as dates go fast. We only play one event per day, and we do not have multiple band setups. Also look at live footage on websites and social media.
Occasionally we have a groom to join us for a song or a family member. Everyone always loves this and it gets all the guests in such a great party mood....but it needs to be arranged before hand. We don't allow any great aunt Nelly to crash our vocals!!!
I take time to talk them through a typical reception and work alongside then venue to make sure the evening food does't come out just as we start playing. It's important to look at timings carefully. Then finding out favourite songs, first dance and really importantly what last song!
When it's a personal choice or a song that has amazing lyrics. Sometimes taking a song and stripping the arrangement back to piano/vocals and then have the band bring it in fully.
My motto is no fillers-just Killers!!! So we have lots of floor-fillers in our set. We also don't have many gaps in between our songs to keep the dance floor full. We have recently added 'Pink Pony Club' in at a wedding and that worked well in the first set!!! Mr Brightside is still the biggest song of the night.....it always goes off!!!
Mmmm great question!! I would have loved to added some keys into a few Pink Floyd tours.
Most albums from Blur have been around with me for years. I also had 'Tender' for my first dance.
