A lovely (and long!) trip to Peckforton Castle for the marriage of Elsa and David. The music choice was Afrobeats and it was a great learning experience for me covering a range of music I hadn't played much before. I invested time in getting a good understanding of the genre and together we created a suitable playlist. It worked perfectly and we all had an absolutely fantastic night. Getting out of your comfort zone can be a great thing! We also offered our videography service and we captured some wonderful memories of a magical day.
Adaptable, Imaginative, Reliable, Friendly and Communicative
We have all 5* Feedback from the events we have done and have many, many delighted couples. We always try to got the extra-mile to ensure that our clients are absolutely thrilled with the service they receive.
Ensure you try to write everything down and plan your day from start to finish. Also remember that plans and (especially) timings always change so try to allow some flexibility. Also don't stress; it's your special day so enjoy it; everything will be fine!!
We did a wedding last year in York where the Dad (who lived in New Zealand) had recorded a message for his daughter to be played at the start of their wedding. We setup early before the wedding and were playing the recording. Half way through the recording the Dad said "I've got a little surprise for you, look behind!", and there he was!! It was just a wonderful surprise and everyone in the room was stunned.
We generally have a length consulation, either in person or over the phone where we take exact details of their wedding and their exact requirements. Following a confirmed booking and booking fee, we send a function planner that the couple can fill in with all the details of their wedding including first dance, cake cutting and much more. We're happy to meet again later in the process to go through any other details and we always arrive early to setup. we also have no issues with revisions or package addons at any time.
We've just written a blog article on this:

It really does depend entirely on the crowd. This probably sounds like a cheesy answer but we really do try to cater to crowd and play songs that will get them up dancing. Some love the cheesy classics such as "I wanna dance with somebody" or "Don't leave me this way", while other parties love 90s dance and boy band songs. Then there are the couple who enjoy the hits from the 60s and 70s with tracks such as "The Twist, "Dancing Queen" etc. Remember though, it's YOUR party and we'll play the songs YOU want to hear!
The Spiders from Mars; I love a bit of Bowie!
Tomita's Snowflakes are Dancing. The album that first got me into music as well as giving me one of the most bizarre experiences in my life. If you'd like to know get in touch!
