It would be unfair to answer this question. There have been countless incredible weddings through-out our career.
Energetic,
Confident,
Experienced,
Versatile,
Dedicated.
Coming out of the Covid 19 pandemic 2021 and performing a typical years worth of events in 5 months!
Try and choose a venue without sound or early curfew limitations, good acoustics & a good layout for a party (which is typically when everything is together in the same room). Also, line up a couple of other important parts of your wedding (I.E music, food etc), check all availability, and then book those on the same day you book the venue!
Always love to see when a client puts a guest beer on draft :)
Always a phone call. In 5 minutes you can provide the couple with so much useful information which they can use whether they decide to book the band or not.
We talk through repertoire, timings, first dance, booking options, available add ons such as acoustic afternoon music, deposit and payments.
Once the booking is made the couple spend the following months getting excited for their big day, choosing their favourite songs for the evening as well as a first dance (if they are having one)
Closer to the time the timings are worked out, the final balance is paid and the PLI and PAT testing documents are emailed to the venue.
Choosing a song that matters to YOU. However, a lot fo people don't want a romantic first dance per-say. A great idea to have the first minute or so where it is just the couple, a guitar and voice. Then after say a verse and a chorus, a drum fill brings in the rest of the band and that is the sign for the audience to join in and begin the party.
It completely depends on who you are performing for! We have songs in what we like to call the ‘S tier’. These aren’t necessarily all songs we love but they will guarantee a full dancefloor 99% of the time 😁
For example Proud Mary or Mr Brightside. However we put our own exciting spin on these to make them more exiting to play 😅
However when we can drop 00’s rock & pop punk and see the place explode… that is when we are truly in our element 🤘🏻
We all have slightly different tastes so this is in-answerable!
