SOUND GENERATION

We were recommended Sound Generation by our planner and venue for our wedding and we were really impressed! The DJ set and uplighters were so modern and sleek that it looked great in photos. James was really responsive throughout and took the time to understand our music preferences, must plays, special dances and final tracks to end the night on. Callum, our DJ on the day, carried out our special requests perfectly such as transitions to each of the dances and inviting guests to join us at the right times. We're so grateful for how flexible they are to any last minute changes as well. All around great song choices and mixes on the night. I feel there was always someone / groups on the dance floor as he read the room quite well. We assumed Callum played some genres more than others to cater to what the guests were feeling and we massively appreciate this. We had so much fun and would not hesitate to recommend them for any event!

Briggs Street Players definitely made our wedding! We had so many amazing comments from guests who said they were one of their favourite parts of the day. The band are super talented and have such a positive, energetic vibe which got everyone up & dancing. They were great with correspondence leading up to the wedding and made everything stress free. We can’t wait to go and see them play live in London on future! Couldn’t recommend them more!

We had the pleasure of working with James at Sound Generation for our wedding. Javi and Andres provided beautiful music for our boat cruise and cocktail party, and Callum was a pitch-perfect DJ (who took all our requests!). We could not have asked for a more professional, friendly and spot-on team - highly recommend!

Sound Generation provided a sound system, lighting and tech support for our wedding. They absolutely nailed it - exactly what we needed and perfect spec for the space. James and Prasheen were great at communicating throughout the process, they always answered any questions and helped with any concerns. It was great to meet James on the day and he oversaw the rig while our friends were DJing. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Dom was simply perfect on our wedding day! He had an extensive list of songs he could play from and played two new request songs. Really wouldn’t hesitate or look any further if you are looking for someone! A big thank you to both James and Dom!

Where do I start! James, you are incredible! Thank you so much for being so amazing every step of the way. You were always quick to respond (even when you were on holiday) and instrumental in booking DJ Angus and the amazingly talented saxophonist, Paven. You helped us with deciding on what equipment, lighting and DJ booth we needed and everything looked incredible on the night. We booked our wedding with a 4 month turnaround and you made the entire experience seamless and stress free. We didn't get off the dance floor the entire night and had the absolute best day of our lives. I wish we could do it all over again. Thank you for everything and I can't recommend you guys enough to anyone looking to book entertainment for their wedding/parties etc. You guys are the best in the business. Where do I even start! Sound generation were simply amazing. Nothing was a problem and working with them was completely effortless. The team are so helpful and kind and dukebox city itself are just crazy talent. All our guests really danced the night away and I can’t recommend them enough. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard but James and the team made it feel so easy. Thank you so much for making our day so special! We haven’t stopped giving out your details since the wedding!
