What is your No.1 planning tip for couples?
In general: Agree on your three top priorities for your wedding day e.g. music, flow & aesthetic. It's easy to get overwhelmed, so being clear on your priorities will help guide you through setting your budget, searching for suppliers and making decisions!
For music: Pick songs you love! Don't worry about them being 'wedding' enough, just choose music you love & your energy will be infectious.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One couple dedicated songs throughout their wedding breakfast to different guests. For each song, I had a short few words of thanks or funny story to introduce the song and the person it was dedicated to. The guests reactions were simply wonderful and it worked so well.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
1. Check Availability: Get in touch, letting me know your wedding date, venue, and what you're looking for, then I will send over a personalised proposal. If you're not sure what you're looking for - we can work this out together!
2. Secure Your Date: Pay your 25% deposit, review & sign your contract, I confirm your booking!
3. You’ll now have full access to your Client Portal; your one-stop shop for your contract, invoices, and any shared documents. 8 weeks ahead of your wedding I'll ask you to select some of your favourite songs that you'd like to hear on the day, then 6 weeks ahead we'll have a final check-in to confirm your setlist, logistics & details of the day. I'm always on hand via email or WhatsApp for any queries until your big day arrives!
How far will you travel?
Unlimited! I'm based in the UK but also travel internationally for weddings and events - just let me know your location, and I’ll handle the logistics.
How are travel costs calculated?
Travel is charged at 45p per mile from my base in CB7. This will be clearly itemised in your quote. If your booking is over 3 hours drive from CB7, an accommodation charge may apply. Travel costs for bookings outside of the UK are managed on a case-by-case basis.
How long do you need to set up?
I usually arrive 60 minutes before my start time to set up and soundcheck before your guests arrive.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes! I provide a high-quality, discrete PA system and all necessary equipment. I only require access to a standard power outlet.
Can I upgrade my package after booking?
Absolutely! If you decide you’d like more coverage (e.g., moving from 'The Serenade' to 'The Half-Day'), just let me know.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have full Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and all my equipment is PAT tested.
Do you need a meal provided?
For the "All Day" package, yes please! Otherwise, it's not a requirement, although a hot meal is always greatly appreciated.
