Saffron Strings

Saffron Strings played at our wedding for the ceremony and drinks reception. The duo was fantastic, professional and had a great variety in their repertoire. The communication with Lorraine during booking and up the big day was seamless. We were away for a lot of the drinks reception, but we had so many comments from guests who loved the music. Lorraine was our main point of contact, she was quick in replying and flexible in considering our choices and songs that were not part of their repertoire. Although they provide classical music, their repertoire includes a good selection of modern songs which was our main preference and they helped us to create the perfect atmosphere for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. As the bride, it was difficult to take in and process everything that was happening around me, however, I have a clear memory of the procession song as we walked down the aisle(Gabriel’s oboe by Ennio Morricone) and the recession as we left. (Dreams by The Cranberries), both were beautifully played and felt so perfect for that moment. They are seasoned professionals with a wealth of experience and we felt like we were in very good hands. We would absolutely recommend them for your event.

Wow! such talented musicians! They heightened the classy feel of the wedding no end! They played classical, film theme tunes and our requested music for the aisle walk both ways and the signing of the register. I can't wait to hear them when we re-play our video. We asked them to play during our canape and drinks reception too. Everyone was 'lulling' along to their music, they brought a beautiful calm to hectic photo taking and family catching up. Beautiful humans, beautiful music.

I was really trying to add a Bridgeton aesthetic to my wedding day and this hit the brief perfectly. Reasonably priced and the song selection was great and love that they were also open to requests on the day. Would definitely recommend!
