Séis Music Events, based in Birmingham, West Midlands, offers dreamy acoustic live music for weddings and events. Founder Katie Cunnane is a professional vocalist with a first-class degree in her field. Inspired by her Irish heritage and the word Séis, meaning melody, Katie decided to create a company of her own to showcase her talent and share her gift.

Séis Music Events caters to both intimate and grand celebrations and aims to add a touch of wonder and romance with its talented vocalist. They offer individual prices and packages for weddings, to cover your ceremony, drinks reception, ceremony and reception, and an all of the above package including your swoon-worthy first dance. Katie's repertoire reaches many genres, including pop, folk, country, lounge, and the latest hits. Whether you envision an acoustic Taylor Swift set or love songs from the past, she'll put together a beautiful setlist to suit your style. Katie can perform on her own with backing track accompaniment or work alongside a guitarist.

What is your most memorable wedding?
A family wedding in Greece. I sang for their first dance under the stars and it was so magical. I was so honoured that I was able to be apart of that moment on their special day.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud that the idea of a wedding singer business came from my University experience while doing my final project. I'm proud of that fact that I worked hard to acheive this goal.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't be afraid to ask your suppliers any questions that you have!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Having certain songs in their setlist, for example, their parents first dance song!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once you enquire with me, I'll get important information like your venue, date and what package you want to book. After a contract and 20% deposit has been secured, I will go through what vibe/songs you want for the day via video call a few weeks before your wedding.
What makes a romantic first dance?
By choosing a song because you both love it and it means something to you. It's your wedding day, you get to make the decisions that make you happy. Don't worry about others opinions, its your one and only first-dance: do what makes you happy!!

I absolutely love 'Aint No Mountain High Enough'

Little Mix: not really a band from the past but I absolutely love them
