Rollercoaster are a professional live band based in Surrey in the UK, specialising primarily in weddings, corporate and private functions, playing all the relevant genres of music, with the ability to throw in a Celtic twist (with our top fiddle players) wherever needed. Rollercoaster will work any crowd, connecting with all ages, and generating the perfect party atmosphere! We cover reception music, and also offer entertainment ceremony and drinks reception

I manage the band, I play in the band. Play music for a living, and also write music - I compose and have a studio... My music is heard on tv all over the world, with tracks on Adam Sandler films, documentaries etc. Rollercoaster were previously 90's rock band Redwood - signed to Also Sounds, albums out worldwide, tv and magazines. We took the ethos of the original band, and carried it onto the function band - where the quality of the music is everything... and hopefully it shows :-)

Never had more fun with a band!

Looking for a band that could mix some Irish classics with some Southern Rock and make it a great night for wedding guests whow were ready to dance wasn't an easy task. But the moment we spoke to Rollercoaster we knew they were up for the challenge. AND WOW WERE THEY! They managed to keep 130 guests dancing ALL NIGHT to a string of fantastic songs that were exactly what we had asked for. Book them-you will never have so much fun!

Summer fete with homemade bunting and a cake and cookie stand on trestle tables.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

The couple looks at the website, then enquires. If available, I send through a quote, they decide the format. I place a tbc on the date, then the pay deposit. Before the wedding they will let us know the first dance, any DJ choices. Then we turn up and play on the big day!

What makes a romantic first dance?

Th couple concentrating on each other, rather than what dance steps to do.
