Wil the DJ was FANTASTIC, he was such a kind, charismatic man, and we all enjoyed a little chat with him before the evening Dancing began. He arrived very promptly and quietly, and was all set up and had gentle background music playing as soon as the Wedding Breakfast had ended. Then throughout the evening Wil played fabulous music, accommodating all ages, and everyone had a such an enjoyable time dancing. Thank you very much to Wil, very professional service and an extremely charming gentleman, highly recommend 🙂. Terry running the Photo-Booth was equally lovely. Again set up very quietly and efficiently and was ready for kick-off time at 7.30 pm. Fabulous props and everyone really enjoyed getting their photos taken. Thank you very much, highly recommend 🙂. We had DJ Karen for our wedding recently and the dance floor was full most of the evening thanks to her! Really enjoyed the music and we all had a fantastic time! I (the bride) was on the dance floor pretty much all night long! Thank you!

I'm really pleased with my DJ experience with Jason and his team. It was very easy to organise, they were very responsive via email, and it was super easy! On the day Jason was a big hit with the whole wedding party, several people commented on how great the music was and how so many people were dancing all of the time. He was able to switch between genres of music easily and there was something for everyone. He also took a lot of videos of the dancing which were great to watch and share with friends and family. Would definitely recommend him!

We had a fantastic experience with Platinum DJs for our wedding. All of the communication before our event was great - highly personal, very responsive, and really dedicated to making sure everything on the day went well. On the night itself we had a really great time. Almost every guest without fail was really complimenting how great the music was. Many saying the best DJing they’d ever seen at a wedding! A huge thank you to Jason and Lynn for this, we’d recommend Platinum to anyone considering them for a big event and we would use them again without hesitation.

We hired platinum DJs for our wedding reception and I honestly wish we hadn’t. A Spotify playlist would have done a better job and been more professional. They completely ruined our reception and we have been so upset. I will genuinely forever regret handing any money over to this awful company and I would hate for any other bride/groom to feel like this after what should be the best day of your lives. The DJ assigned to us was incredibly rude and unprepared. They played the wrong first dance song and played music that no one had heard before because they, and I quote, “despised” the music we chose (which was just cheesy pop). The venue even confirmed that the DJ hadn’t downloaded the first dance song until they got to the venue which speaks volumes about the preparation and professionalism of this company. The DJ was incredibly rude to my bridesmaids, members of our family and myself when, on numerous occasions throughout the night, we asked them to play the music we requested instead of doing their own thing as the music was completely clearing the dance floor. The DJ would eventually agree to play our request, however very soon reverted back to whatever rubbish they were playing in the beginning, leading to the dance floor being a ghost town again. The DJ also informed my maid of honour that they weren’t going to play our chosen last dance song because they “don’t like that song.” It took a lot of convincing and back and forth from my MOH and the DJ to finally get them to agree to play the song we chose. The DJ set up was laughable. Just some DJ decks on a trestle table with a cloth over it and certainly not what is advertised. I have added a photo to show the “professional set up” we received. The DJ was quite clearly inexperienced and was completely unbothered that we were paying them to be here and therefore our music choices should be the ones played. We emailed the manager of the company, Jason, the day after our wedding to inform of our grievances and request a partial refund. Jason was, unbelievably, more unprofessional than the DJ he sent us. Jason’s initial response was to call us liars, stating that our account was “a total fabrication.” Jason had not done any investigation other than to ask the DJ if the claims were true, which of course they aren’t going to admit to being so awful. When challenged on the set up, the DJ stated that the venue had told them they had to use the trestle table however this was a complete lie, as confirmed by the venue. Jason offered us £25 for this inconvenience (after telling us we’d made it up). Overall, Jason was incredibly patronising and difficult to deal with. We were very upset with this response and urged Jason to actually investigate by speaking with the venue instead of taking the DJs word for it. Jason eventually did this, after us chasing numerous times over the course of almost 3 months. The venue informed Jason that the DJ had in fact been completely dishonest in their account, and confirmed that our claims were an accurate account of the evening, evidenced by CCTV footage of the empty dance floor and statements from the two managers on shift that evening. Jason finally offered us a 20% refund as a “good will gesture.” I had to specifically request that Jason apologised for calling us liars because of course, he had not thought to do that by himself. This 20% was honestly insulting as we have had to guide Jason on how to investigate a complaint, been called liars, and had to remind him to apologise once evidence of the investigation (that we had to beg for) showed that we were in fact telling the truth. The only good thing about this company is Lynn, however, she is not a DJ or the manager so unfortunately it’s easy to be lulled into a false sense of security when booking with her as she’s the only person in this company with an ounce of professionalism it seems. There are a lot of DJs out there that can offer professionalism and experience for a lower cost. My advice if you are considering booking this company - consider a Spotify playlist instead.

Jason - WHAT A DJ! Not only a genuinely lovely guy, he was so helpful from the start, really wanted to understand what we were wanting for our wedding and he strove to make it unique for us. Couldn't recommend him enough!
