FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

There was the time when the bride asked me to play 'The Final Countdown' just before she walked in, to the groom's amazement! Or the wedding when I was asked to play music by Nirvana throughout the ceremony, and then the bride and groom joined me with their own guitars as they walked down the aisle.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Personalised, ready-for-anything, music-minded, respectful, unrivalled

What about your business are you most proud of?

That I can play any tune you request - making it your music for your day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Keep a notepad by your bed or in your front room, and when you hear a great tune for your wedding, in a film, concert or radio show, write it down before you forget. Inspiration can strike at any time!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Getting the music right is the biggest personal touch you can give any wedding - it really reflects your characters as single people and then as a couple. And a live musician really emphasises that.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

When a couple is first interested in booking me, I play for them. In person, on Skype, FaceTime or Zoom - so they can see I am the real deal and not an amateur trying to make a few bucks on the side. I sit down with them for a good hour and talk through the plans for their day, and where they see the music fitting in. At no charge.

What is the soundtrack to your life?

The soundtrack to my life is the weddings I play for - it gives me such joy to play music my clients have chosen. I remember them mostly by their choice of music, which delves deep into their character and how they came together as a couple. Looking back over years of weddings, I remember the quirkiest characters from their music!
