Otters Pocket is a Halesworth-based, six-piece soul and blues band. The band is made up of Suffolk-based creatives – musicians, actors and singers – and it now has a great following around East Anglia, with recent gigs including a lively show at Southwold Arts Centre and Ness Fest 2021.
Otters Pocket is always adding to its repertoire and part of its philosophy is to embrace and combine new and old music, from Hit the Road Jack to No Surprises, from Valerie to I Thank You, She Said, Proud Mary, Car Wash, Treat Her Right, Do I Love You (Indeed I Do), Land of 1,000 Dances and Chain of Fools. As Northern Soul is having a resurgence in popularity the band is really embracing this genre and some of the Northern Soul songs it plays are amongst the most popular and regularly requested.
