An R&B wedding with music definitely NOT suitable for a younger audience and some VERY suggestive things going on on the dancefloor.
Flexible, adaptable, versatile, helpful, accomodating
Still flourishing after several decades and now we can pick and choose what we do and it's no longer all about the money.
Don't make last minute changes and listen to the professionals.
Probably when we used lasers to blow up a series of balloons filled with confetti whilst playing a video of fireworks on the gable wall of the marquee. The couple were not expecting it at all and burst into tears.
We take time to get a feel for the couple, understand what THEY want, not what we think they should have, and then advise based on this and our experience.
If you think there is an easy answer to this you've only been to a few weddings. We've had everything from staged dances, dirty dancing, ballroom and R&B which left nothing to the imagination and a few others besides. It all depends on the couple and what works for them.
Typically something cheesy. Yes a lot of people say they don't want it, and we'll comply if so, but it works and fills the floor.
We have worked with a good many bands, but I would have loved to have been a part of Pink Floyd.
