Marvellous Disco provides multi-award-winning wedding DJ entertainment across the North of England, the Scottish Borders and beyond.

With over 21 years of experience, my focus is simple, to create an incredible atmosphere and a packed dance floor that you and your guests will remember long after the final song has played.

Every wedding is unique, which is why the music is always tailored to you as a couple. My music collection covers all eras and genres, from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s right through to modern chart music. Whether your guests love rock & roll, R&B, indie, dance, pop or something a little different, I’ll create the perfect mix to keep the dance floor full all night.

Presentation is incredibly important at a wedding, which is why Marvellous Disco uses a stylish Humpter B3 DJ booth, paired with a high quality Studiomaster sound system to deliver clear, powerful audio throughout your evening reception.

The lighting setup features a carefully designed combination of moving heads, colour washes and parcans, creating an exciting party atmosphere while still looking elegant within your venue.

I’m not the stereotypical “cheesy” wedding DJ. I don’t spend the night constantly talking on the microphone or making jokes at guests’ expense. Instead, I focus on great music, seamless mixing and reading the room to keep the dance floor full. Announcements are always made when needed, but I prefer to let the music do the talking.

For your first dance, the lighting is always set to elegant white light only. This creates a beautiful, timeless look for your wedding photographs and avoids coloured lighting appearing across your faces.

When you book Marvellous Disco, you will receive access to your own secure online planning area where you can manage your event details, submit song requests, highlight must-play tracks and keep track of important timings such as speeches and cake cutting.
