Madeline Kirby Harpist

Madeline played the harp whilst guests were being seated, for the aisle walk, during the signing of register and the ceremony exit, playing a variety of songs chosen by us which were all very recognisable. Her talents on the harp set a calming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for our wedding ceremony. We’d like to thank Madeline again for being a part of our special day and for being so professional. We would 100% recommend Madeline and would definitely look to book her for future celebrations.

We had our wedding at Hampton Castle in July 2025 and it was honestly beautiful in every way. The venue is such a showstopper, and we’ve had endless compliments from the guests about how amazing the castle is! It is such an elegant backdrop, and the different rooms and lawns are perfect for a wedding day. It’s a lot of fun that so many guests can stay overnight too, and the day after breakfast with a walk around the gardens is the perfect way to wrap everything up. We decided to have a fully vegan wedding, and the staff and caterers could not have been more supportive. The menu already has some lovely vegan options, and we were able to work with the caterers on some special requests we had as well. All of the food was delicious. Throughout the planning process, all of the team at the castle were very helpful and responsive. The portal is great for making sure all of the information is in one place, and the planning meetings are so handy too. Special mention to Rob who we had all of our planning meetings with and who was there for our entire wedding, from our arrival on Saturday to when we left on Sunday. Rob is so kind, helpful and most of all competent - every little request we’d mentioned in emails or during the planning meetings was taken care of and the day ran perfectly smoothly thanks to him and the team. We couldn’t be more pleased that we chose Hampton Castle for our wedding and wish we could do it all over again!

Madeline played at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception in July 2025. The ceremony music was simply stunning, her rendition of the song we’d chosen was even more beautiful than we’d imagined, and we both had tears as soon as we heard it. Madeline transferred seamlessly over to our outdoor drinks reception and her performance was so elegant. We loved the songs that we heard and had so many compliments from guests too. Madeline was the perfect addition to our wedding day and we’re so glad we booked her!

Madeline was one of the best parts of our wedding day, a real dream come true! She played absolutely beautifully and blended into the day so well. She played during the ceremony and drinks reception, it was so magical I cried when I first heard her! Everything leading up to the wedding was so pleasant and professional, she was very patient with us and accommodated last minute changes. Madeline played at our wedding in March and she did an incredible job. When we met her online to discuss song choices we were blown away by her talent and our guests commented on how beautiful the music was. She played all the songs we requested including ones which weren’t on her original list of songs. I would highly recommend her.
