Lazy Marmalade

Alex and Jon were absolutely terrific from start to finish and we couldn’t recommend them enough! We had them for the whole day so they did our ceremony, drinks reception and evening and nailed every part of the day. I had guests coming up to me to tell me how great they were all day — and they certainly kept the dance floor full all night — as well as learning our unusual first dance song. If there was any question mark about if two guys and a guitar would bring “enough” party atmosphere, that concern was blow away as the dance floor was heaving! On top of being brilliant at what they do, they are also genuinely lovely people who were professional and friendly and a pleasure to have around on our big day. 100% recommend!

These two are crazy good and you should definitely book them for your wedding! They have been professional from our first enquiry with fast responses throughout. We booked them to play before our wedding breakfast and then after the wedding breakfast for what we liked to call "The Power Hour", they definitely lived up to this. We didn't give any sort of playlist but we didn't need to, these two know what songs you and your wedding guests want to hear, they were however happy to take requests. They had so many of our guests up dancing and singing in the afternoon and got them all ready for the evening reception! Their talent is exceptional and their song choices are on point ! We would 100% recommend Lazy Marmalade. Thank you both so much for playing a part in making our wedding day magical!

Where can I start? - From the moment we saw Lazy Marmalade at a wedding fayre, we knew they were the chaps for us. Their songs - and the fact they are acoustic, which was perfect for our venue - just blew us away. No discussion needed! From day 1, they've been friendly, courteous, organised, respectful, accommodating and professional, but above all - and this is the most important thing - they wowed our guests as much as us. Even learning a special song just for us (Cherish by Madonna - highly recommend it if you want to dance back down the aisle to it, like we did!) to having loads of song choices available to fit in with our theme... just brilliant. Easy, great value for money and thoroughly great people who felt like part of our wedding family. If we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing and Lazy Marmalade would be an integral part of the day again. Thank you both xx

Amazing from start to finish. As soon as they started their live set everyone was up dancing and didn’t stop until 1am. Booking process couldn’t have been better, responded to emails within 24 hours and really helpful going through all the requirements of our venue. Everyone kept saying how amazing the band were after the wedding. Would definitely recommend booking them!

10/10 over and over!! Alex and Jon were incredible from start to finish, it was like having friends play on the day and I couldn’t wait to say hello. We had so many compliments - I want to attend a wedding where they are playing so I can be on the other side! Don’t hesitate and book them now!!

Lazy Marmalade were absolute perfection! We cannot recommend them enough. From the second we booked communication was brilliant. They learned some of our favourite songs to make our wedding day and first dance extra special. Their evening entertainment was phenomenal - so many people up dancing and commenting on how great the music was! Amazing memories made and such great lads, thank you for everything!

These guys were incredible! From booking through to the wedding day I cannot fault them! Every single guest commented on them! The dance floor was never empty and there were never any awkward moments where no one was entertained! Alex and Jon even remembered that we were toting between two first dance songs, and they surprised me with the second choice and announcing it after our official first dance. They were just stunning in every way and really contributed to having the best day of our life!

What can I say about these guys. They were amazing from the minute we booked them, to the minute they finished at our wedding. They were the nicest people, so approachable and happy to change their sets to work around our schedule. They were super helpful by doing announcements for us when we asked. Their music was incredible, perfect song choices for sets and they are so talented. The dance floor was full for every song that they played. They also came to our church to play for us, and this was beyond what we could have dreamed for. Thank you guys for making our day even more special than it was before. You guys are the best as we were so lucky to have booked you. Jon and Alex also learnt a new song for our father daughter dance which was so special. I would recommend Jon and Alex to anyone wanting an approachable fantastic band to make their special day even more memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book these guys again for any future events that we might have. One of our groomsmen also wanted to to get up and sing a song, Jon and Alex were so approachable and accommodating for this. So many more special memories made, but having these two amazing men play at our wedding. Get booking them, you really won’t regret it.

INCREDIBLE!! What an absolute gem of a find! Picking a wedding band is so important. You want everyone up and dancing and boy did they do that. Alex was given the impossible task of taking a very personal song and creating it as a first dance. Impossible task, right? Absolutely not, he nailed it! At the end of the night the chant was “10 more songs, 10 more songs” which tells you everything about their performance! Seriously, look no further than Lazy Marmalade! The perfect band for the perfect night! Jon & Alex are legends - Can’t thank you enough. They’re so good we booked them again for a birthday party in April!
