Kelly Pepper is a wedding singer with over a decade of experience performing all over the world at a number of weddings, corporate events and festivals. Her vocals have been heard on Radio 1 and Capital FM and she has had record deals in both Europe and Asia writing for some of the biggest up and coming talent. With a repertoire of over 200 songs - everything from the 50's to current day, Kelly is an extremely versatile wedding singer who can adapt to your specific needs, adding that something special to your perfect day, making it one to remember! Whether you're looking to add a romantic feel to those emotional key moments, or if you're looking to add a singer to get everyone in the party mood on the dancefloor, Kelly can work with you to provide exactly the kind of entertainment you're looking for to impress your guests. Based in SE London but willing to travel, Kelly is reliable, hard working and passionate about her job and will happily learn songs on request. Kelly has two sets of top of the range Bose equipment so she can move seamlessly from room to room around your wedding venue, and provides tasteful background music in between sets. All equipment is PAT tested and she holds full public liability insurance.

“Kelly has a lovely voice and entertained our guests beautifully at our wedding. She is personable and responsive which made planning entertainment for our day easy. Kelly has an amazing repertoire that is varied and extensive. There were songs to suit each part of our day which meant Kelly’s offer to learn any new songs we may want unnecessary as there was so much to choose from :-) Kelly sang four sets at our wedding: the first when our guests were arriving for the ceremony, the second during the drinks reception after the ceremony, the third during the wedding breakfast and the last set to kick off our evening reception. Kelly was able to vary the style so tracks were appropriate for the different stages of the day, singing stripped down acoustic versions through to a more up beat tempo for later in the day. Both us and our guests loved Kelly’s sets and we had lots of comments from our guests about how great her voice was and about how much they enjoyed listening to her. Kelly was very professional and not phased by being asked to sing a request by one of the guests and happily obliged. What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud to say I have been a professional singer for 11 years now and feel extremely lucky to be able to do a job that doesn't even feel like a job!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Book some entertainment! I might be bias but I genuinely believe the entertainment you chose can make your day truly memorable and stand out over other weddings.

When my husband and I got married in 2017, we had a singer for the drinks and dinner which created a lovely relaxed romantic mood and then hired a singing comedian for an hour after the speeches and before the first dance to get everyone laughing and up for a good night. By the time to DJ started, everyone was in the best mood, and even 5 years on our guests still make comments and say our wedding was one of the best they've been to!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I work with you one-on-one to create a bespoke package that fits into the timings of your special day. Whether you want me to sing for just one part of the day or at multiple points throughout the day, I will liaise with you and make sure the set lists at each part are in keeping with your vision for the day. If you want stripped back acoustic covers or classic wedding dancefloor fillers, I can accommodate whatever vibe you're looking for. Learning requests too.
