Iron Broo Ceilidh Band

Charlie performed at my dad's 60th in Perthshire, there were 100 people there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music and singing. We thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh. Considering he was on his own I can only imagine how good the full band are. Highly recommended!

We hired Charlie and his amazing 3-piece band for our wedding in July 2017. They were absolutely fantastic providing a ceilidh all night long for people who were experienced ceilidh dancers to complete novices. They were fantastic musicians and also great and calling the dances. The disco at the middle and end of hte night was also just what was needed to make it a perfect evening. Their communication and organisation was great and their price very reasonable. Thank you so much to all of you!

They were truly AWESOME! Everyone commented on how fabulous they were. We had a lot of non-ceilidh dancers, and they called the dances and got everyone on their feet and joining in. Even those who couldn't join in the dancing had a great time watching everyone give it a go-the atmosphere they created was fantastic! We had Iron Broo play at our wedding in October 2017 and we thought they were brilliant. Our guests all had a great time, and one couple have asked for the bands contact details to get them to play at their own wedding next year. Charlie was easy to deal with and quick and professional in all correspondence. He also did a great job in calling the ceilidh dances and keeping everyone right. We would definitely recommend Iron Broo to anyone looking for a ceilidh band for their wedding, and hope to see them again at our friends wedding soon!

Iron Broo played for our Golden Wedding Party and we had a most successful evening. Charlie played music that got everyone dancing and with his direction showed the guests how to do the dances. We have made a few videos which we will cherish dearly. If we celebrate anything else that would be our first choice.

Cameron Leel Alford 19 Nov 2017 Iron Broo played at our wedding in July 2017 with 3 piece band and disco. They made the night, we'd highly recommend them! My wife and I loved them, and we still get great feedback from guests. Iron Broo are everything you want in a traditional ceilidh band but also with some unique twists to make them memorable (their Orcadian Strip the Willow is awesome!). Going to their Xmas Ceilidh and can't wait to dance to their tune again. Many thanks Iron Broo :).

Charlie and his band did a fantastic job at our wedding. The Ceilidh was excellent and they did a great work at keeping everyone engaged! Our guests were from various countries and they all joined in and had a lot of fun dancing!

Charlie and his band were brilliant. We had a lot of non-Scottish guests at our wedding who had never been to a ceilidh before, and the calling of the dances made sure everyone had a brilliant time. He accommodated our requests and made sure the entertainment was one aspect of the evening we didn't need to worry about.

Iron Broo played at for us at 50th birthday/20th wedding anniversary ceilidh at the Rox Hotel. Communication leading up to the event was very easy and efficient and on the day they were brilliant - great music and great mix of dances. Charlie recommended that the Iron Broo duo would be sufficient for the size of room and it was. We would definitely recommend and use again if the opportunity arose.
