An Irish and Mauritian wedding where we played music for each ethnicity, and got families from both sides on the floor to celebrate together. A truly blessed event.
Interactive, fun, professional, skilled, approachable
Our interactive style. We will join in a few dances if the guests are having a good time.
Understand how the venue lay out will impact on your disco. If the bar or seating arrangements are away from where the party is at, you will have people coming and going rather than staying to interact with the DJ. This makes it difficult for the DJ to judge if he he playing the right songs for the guests, or to build momentum by looking at the response from the guests.
DJ taking a moment to congratulate the guests on their dancing, and encourage them to suggest more of their favourite songs
Meet and greet before the event, suggest options for lighting and scale dependent on the venue (sound limiter or marquee etc) Take a small deposit, balance at the start of the night.
Ensuring the guests are prepared for the entrance, and cheer. Create a little silent tension before pressing play, watching the bride and groom for a cue to encourage others to join the floor or change the song.
Depends on age group, but Valerie for the ladies, and I want you back by the Jackson 5
