What is your most memorable wedding?
Last summer we played for the wedding of K&K at Saltburn Hall, Yorkshire and their day was epic. There was an ice cream cart (very welcome on a hot day!), a sausage dog (not that I'm biased or anything...), and the guests couldn't get enough of our Metallica arrangements. The music choices across the day really reflected both bride and groom, from a romantic ceremony to a corker of a drinks reception, and we ended up being the highlight of their day. Mission accomplished!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Personal, exciting, detailed, eclectic, awesome
What about your business are you most proud of?
The messages we get from our couples the day after their wedding. Time and time again we hear that we were the highlight of their day and that they'd hire us all over again!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Let your suppliers know your ideas early and keep them in the loop if things need changing.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couple asked us to play Concerning Hobbits as their dog came up the church aisle as the ringbearer. He proceeded to lie on the bride's dress for the remainder of the ceremony. Cute and hilarious in equal measure!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
During our first phone call, we'll talk about your wedding vision and how our quartet fits into that picture. Once we've all decided we're a perfect match for you and your special day, we'll get you booked in! We'll have many more phone calls between booking and the wedding day, and they're all about me finding out about the two of you. The better I know you, the better I can help you choose the perfect music for your big day! Some couples decide on their music choices easily and others make use of my advice and experience to make those decisions, so I never put a cap on how much you get to speak with me during your planning. You've got my support every step of the way, and with a bit of luck, we'll have reached our final decisions by roughly 3 months before the big day.
