What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure you choose suppliers that you like, sometimes having an excellent company isn’t always enough. If you find someone you have a bond with you’re more likely to get a better service and for them to work harder for you and your day!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One wedding i played at did a British bake off style event where all the guests made a cake with a theme from the wedding and they were judged! It was brilliant and really included everyone! Plus lots of cake to go round! Yum!!!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I’m happy to chat to a couple either by phone or face to face but then I like to make most contact via email, I then have a record of everything and a point of reference. I talk to the couple about their favourite bands and soloists and try to come up with a nice play list suitable for them and their guests. I’ll send out a questionnaire to retrieve all the detail I need to produce an accurate quote. Once the quote has been agreed I’ll then work with the couple to help get their wedding music perfect. I’ve also been known to help couples if they’ve needed advice too. Weddings aren’t something you plan everyday so having done so many now I can help couples with other aspects of the day if they need it. I know some great suppliers I’d be happy to recommend too.
What makes a romantic first dance?
Choosing a song important to the couple that gives them a reminder of a cherished shared moment, also encouraging the bride and grooms parents to join the couple on the dance floor for the second half of the song takes off the pressure and is a lovely moment for the parents too.

The Beatles (Obviously!)
