Hotsteppaz Wedding DJ

Brett did an amazing job DJing our wedding in West Sussex in May. He knew instinctively which songs on our wish list were special and he maintained such a good energy for the whole evening. Had loads of compliments. He was really punctual and easy to get hold of. Pack up and pack down were so neatly done that we hardly noticed. So easy to recommend!

Brett created the most ideal playlist for our wedding party! Even my 92 year old Grandma loved it! We wanted to create the best party vibe for everyone at the wedding and Brett nailed it! Such a fun evening!

I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give Bret - to say he was amazing is an understatement! I was worried at first because he was more expensive than my budget and lots of other DJs but I have to say he was worth every penny (and more). We loved the fact the reviews said he always played the right music at the right volume to fit where the party was at and it was for this reason we booked him. I have to say that genuinely it couldn't have been more perfect. The music was so spot on that lots of our guests thought we had actually given him an exact playlist. He worked out what different types of music we both liked (very different with mine being burlesque and his being rock) and he played a set for us both - seamlessly. We also had a slow last dance planned but by the end of the night the music was so banging with everyone jumping about that he played the fast house version of our slow song and it really was the perfect end to an amazing day and evening. My only complaint would be that I didn't talk to any of my evening guests because I literally spent the whole night dancing!

Brett played an awesome mix of alt, steampunk, rock, metal, pop & wedding classics. He even pitched in to help our performer with his backing tracks. All my mates afterwards said how banging the tracks played were. Fab dj :)

We had our wedding at Buxted Park Hotel on the 21st of October 2017. It was simply the best day of our lives! Everything went perfect! Brett Butler from hotsteppaz was amazing! He provided us with an LED dance floor and was our DJ for the evening. I couldn't have asked for more from him. It was perfect!! Thank you so much :-D

Brett was totally unfazed by our requests for the Sound of Music soundtrack, an obscure Taylor Swift song, as well as Fleetwood Mac and Taylor Swift. He was professional, kind, helpful and totally seamless. I could not recommend him highly enough. We were especially touched that he rejigged things so that our little bridesmaid could hear Little Mix before she had to go home.

Brett was a fantastic DJ, every song choice was flawless and he was able to really enhance the mood of the wedding. I would highly recommend him, there wasn’t one person who didn’t get up to dance.
