The duo met through their mutual love of music and performing, and so naturally decided to join forces and pursue their musical careers together. With their selection of wedding packages, they are perfect for wedding ceremonies and receptions in particular. What about your business are you most proud of?
We are most proud of the quality of music that we bring to each event. We are both qualified, professional musicians with over 10 years of performing experience.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If you are set on having live music at your wedding, or are at least thinking about it, make sure that the venue you book allows for this! We have come across a few situations where people wanted to book live music, but unfortunately the venue had a strict 'no live music' policy. Some places may allow for live music, but do not allow for amplification.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We always offer a unique, bespoke experience to each couple.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We are available to contact and run through details right up to the day of the wedding. You can give us a call, email, or if Oxfordshire-based we are happy to meet up and run through the details beforehand. We take a 20% deposit to secure the date and the remainder of the fee can be paid anytime up to one month before the wedding date.
What makes a romantic first dance?
A song that is unique to the couple, no matter how unconventional! We played The White Stripes' Hotel Yorba for a couple's first dance and though an unconventional choice, it was so unique to them that it made it all the more special!
What is your number one floor-filler?
We mostly play weddings during the daytime, when there is less chance of getting people to dance, but our renditions of Isn't She Lovely, Kiss Me, and La Vie En Rose have turned heads!
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
Joni Mitchell's Band! She really wears her heart on her sleeve, and doesn't shy away from this in her music. Being around that kind of energy would be so liberating!
What is the soundtrack to your life?
So many classic pop hits across the years. We grew up listening to more classic tunes and so naturally many of our favourites are in our repertoire!
