I've been very luck to sing at some beautiful venues and for some beautiful couples. Singing a gorgeous jazz version of "Single Ladies" as the bridesmaids entered at one wedding was fantastic fun! Also, seeing tears in the eyes of a newly married couple as I sung their first dance was a magical moment I won't forget!

Being part of a couple's special day is such a privilege. I will never get tired of feeling so honoured to be part of such a special day in people's lives.

Pick things that YOU want - colours, food, clothes, entertainment. This is YOUR day - so as long as you are loving it then your guests will too!

A bride serenaded her groom at a wedding I sang at once. It was so romantic and a total surprise for the groom. There were a lot of tears!

Once a couple makes contact we discuss the feel/theme/style of their wedding. I always like to hear about the proposal too! Then we work through what music requirements the couple has (from ceremony singing to first dance) and what sort of music they enjoy. We look through my repertoire list and see what pops out, and if the couple have any special requests I try my very best to accommodate them.

A song that has a personal meaning to the couple. As long as there's a reason or a story behind the song then that's all that matters.

Beyoncé Single Ladies always gets that girls on the dance floor. And any old school jazz number will entice couples of all ages.

I would love to have sung with any of the jazz greats: Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra...

My go-to play list isn't just one genre - a bit of Disney always goes down well, as does a musical theatre love song or a jazz standard!
