What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I was playing some songs for the children at the beginning of the night and asked the bride and grooms daughter (who was 5 years old) if she would like to sing 'Let It Go' from Frozen. It was completely unplanned but everyone immediately gathered round and she sung the whole song beautifully.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The process from booking to performing varies from client to client as I always adapt my approach to suit. The main element though is ensuring I have gathered as much information as necessary to fully understand what the client wants from music and lighting to the setup and equipment. I will then use the information gathered to make preparations for the event and this may include researching music genres to programming bespoke light shows. The delivery of my service on the day is then made more successful due to the hours of preparation put in beforehand to ensure the client receives everything they wanted the way they want it.
What makes a romantic first dance?
Picking a song that really means something to the couple. You can tell they are living every moment of the song and it's almost as though that song was made for them.

Impossible to say as every crowd has different tastes. Understanding the crowd and developing an adaptability enables me to play many floor fillers throughout the night to please many different tastes.

Always look on the bright side of life - Monty Python.
