I'd like to thank Mike for his amazing DJing at our party at the Southbank Club. As it was a big celebration (combined 50th and 60th birthdays and 20th Wedding anniversary) we wanted it to be just right and Mike certainly delivered. We hired Mike for our wedding 2 years ago and he was just the perfect fit for our day. I know Mike from working with him about 20 years ago. When I needed to find a D.J. for a 70th family party I didn't think twice. I remembered he always did his job really well back then and really didn't want to pay lots of money for a person to turn up with a laptop! Anyone can do that! We were definitely not disappointed. HANDS DOWN the best I've seen at work in a very long time. His work starts weeks before the event. He took the time prior to the party to get to know the birthday girl and boy by asking for their favourite tracks, oh and what to avoid! Always helpful when you have 7 kids with awful taste! When we had any queries he replied almost straight away. This is an underrated bonus when you have a million things to prepare and are panicking :D He had everyone from 4 to 74 tearing up the dance floor all night. He did an especially amazing job of integrating our "must plays" with his own picks, which we encouraged him do as he got a sense of the crowd. The dancing music was the best, and the music earlier in the night was at a perfect background level of noise for the buffet - no one had trouble hearing each other. He even scheduled in speeches. Anyways, it was perfect. We will always use Discos For Hire in future. 🤗🤗
