What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding was for a couple some years ago. The Groom was from Brighton and the Bride from Venezuela and the evening party was a real fun party carnival atmosphere. They hired in dancer's with the big feather hats and everything, it was awesome!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Non-cheesy, professional, reliable, awesome and friendly.
What about your business are you most proud of?
My levels of customer service. I reply to all emails and phone calls quickly. Couples love this as they need reassurance when planning their wedding that they have the right people on board and if you don't give that reassurance, it increases the stress levels so anything I can do to help alleviate that is a BIG positive!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time to evaluate exactly what is and what isn't important to you.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Wedding cakes made by family or friends, I think that' s a great touch.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once a couple has been in touch, I like to arrange a meeting with them if possible, either over the phone or at a local bar maybe so we can discuss the type of wedding they're after. It's not a sales meeting, there are no hard sells and it's totally optional. It gives us a chance to see if we're compatible :)
What makes a romantic first dance?
A great song that has real meaning to the couple. You don't need to swan around the dance floor like something out of strictly either! A shuffle can be just as romantic and will have everyone in tears of joy!
What is your number one floor-filler?
For me, Jackson 5's I Want You Back just has this ability to get people on the floor...it's a sure-fire winner!
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
My roots are kind of indie I guess and I always liked Pulp as a band, so yep...Pulp. Rock and Roll!
What is the soundtrack to your life?
John Parr - St. Elmo's Fire...lots of meaning in that song for me.
