I remember all of them! Once a bride emailed us saying we performed at her sisters wedding 6 years ago and seeing the surname we instantly new who it was and could email back photos and memories of the day!
Any wedding where the staff are asking us politely to stop playing the guitars on the tables are good ones too!
Modern, Fresh, Fun, Energetic, HAPPY!
That we love the band! A band is like a family. We experience lows together and highs together and often have to live together or spend many hrs hulled up in a van or dodgy accommodation. We alwasy have one ethos that remains - and that is to better ourselves and the band. We learn from mistakes and grow as a family as we want to be one of the best!
To watch live footage!!!!! 90% of bands will have shinny promo videos that look and sound awesome but they are mimed and fake. Using the latest technology you can make anyone sing in tune or tidy up instruments and sound. We have a show reel and we recorded it live and we have tons of real life footage taken at weddings with no overdubs. We share everything... Even the mistakes. A showreel is a glitzy advert that every band has but be wary of any band that does not show real life footage!
Obviously ours is music! We talk to brides and see if there are any special songs we can do for someone. We have done Wurzel medleys for Farmer weddings and even had the groom up to play drums!
Check the website and enjoy our live footage and get a feel for the service we provide. Send us an email or phone us and we can chat. We usually like to meet up for a coffee and discuss weddings and plan your evening. If distance is a problem we can do this via phone calls and emails. After that we can agree on a price and sign contracts to protect both parties. we take a 10% deposit to secure the booking. We will start working on your first dance and contact the venue and exchange paperwork with them. Nearer the time we can finalise your favourite songs and give out the guest request page to family and friends. Then its your wedding day! We turn up, sound check, get changed and then get ready to dance the night away!!!!!
We have done a lot of romantic first dances but I have to say our favourite ones are the more rocky ones! There is nothing more fun than seeing a bride and groom dance to a lively song.
However if you are the more romantic type a love ballad songs with orchestras that we can pre record and play along side. Its also nice to pick an older song or less mainstream one. Ed Sheeran or Ellie Golding are nice but we would of done them at several other weddings!
hmmm, Uptown Funk is still a dance floor filler! Our twist Medlies are great. Proud Mary is a lot of peoples Jam. Later on our 90s Megamix works a treat! Then the sing along stuff like Bohemian Rhapsody, Hey Jude or Wonderwall will result in a lot of people losing their voices!
Name dropping - but I have actually performed with the Sweet (Block Buster, Ballroom Blitz). I couldn't pick though. I have music ADD. I want to play swing/rock n roll then rave music! Thats why Catch 22 is perfect as we get to play so many styles!
Oh dear... I'm not answering that!
