Cairn String Quartet

Hi Annemarie, We have just about recovered now, looking forward to weekends of non-wedding planning. No photos back yet but will pass on any of the quartet once they come in. I just want to say that our guests loved the quartet and we were both thrilled with the music during the ceremony. Only downside was all the photos took us away from the music after the ceremony. Hi You played at my daughter Helen Taylor's wedding when she married her partner Cherry Alexander on Saturday 04/11/2017 at the Norton House Hotel, Edinburgh. I never got the opportunity to say how much I and my family enjoyed the recital you gave. I found the music played quite relaxing and calming and the choice of pieces played was exceptional. Identifying the pieces was a talking point whilst waiting for Helen & Cherry to arrive. I just wanted to say thank you to you all for making a special day even more memorable. Hi Annemarie, Jayne and I are not long back from honeymoon and are unfortunately now settling back into reality. We'd just like to say thank-you for the playing at our wedding. We had so many comments as to how amazing Cairn were, in particular from Jayne's parents. I think the mix of songs was perfect, as we had a lot of people asking "did you hear them play x?" about their own favourites. Due to the a combination of the length of time the photographs took and our own "just married" daze we didn't get to hear as much of the performance ourselves as we would have like - although the music during the ceremony was fantastic and we do remember both "No One Knows" and "Immigrant Song" during the drinks reception being pretty awesome! Unfortunately we didn't manage to catch "Make It Wit Chu", but my cousin who is also big QoTSA fan was raving about it afterwards. If it ever ends up on one of your future recordings, please let is know as we'd really love to hear it. Once again, thanks again for the performance. The string quartet on the day was excellent and many people have commented on how good you were - particularly a spontaneous Disney singalong that came about following requests! I was off having photos at this point, sadly, so missed it, but thoroughly enjoyed the music ahead of and during the ceremony.

Hi Annemarie I just wanted to say thank you again for Saturday, you were all amazing and everyone commented on how beautiful the music was - I was only sorry i didn't get to hear more of it at the drinks reception as i had to go do photos etc, im sure its the same at every wedding! I did get to hear Mountains however so I was happy!! It was so moving to all of us when we heard my love is like a red red rose, it was my grandpa's favourite song and he's no longer with us, so to hear it played so beautifully as I came down the aisle was such a special moment.
