What is your most memorable wedding?
It's difficult to pinpoint for Bandtube as we are not at the actual wedding, other acts will be performing for the couple, but my band The RUSH play about 120 weddings a year, and I see so many that it's difficult to pick one out. As a band we are really lucky, I think as most of our weddings are extremely raucous! Sometimes it feels like we are playing at a big festival!

What about your business are you most proud of?
When you receive testimonials from couples and they use phrases like 'best day of our lives' and 'our guests can't stop talking about it'that really means something
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do everything as early as you can, especially the main things; photographer, videographer, band - these things get booked way in advance and in order to get the supplier that you want after searching, you need to book early. Also, on the day try not to stress over minor details going wrong - as long as the ceremony goes ahead, everyone is fed and the place is bouncing at night - what is the point in worrying!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I've seen some incredible room dressing, one wedding in particular was like a rainforest with giraffe's and monkeys dotted about the place! hats off to Red Floral Architecture for that one!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From initial enquiry, I'm on hand to take information about style of music and budget, and then from there I can recommend acts to suit that couple. If they are looking for something a bit quirky and out of the ordinary, I usually know how to organise that as well even if its not on the website or is completely out of left field . Then, when the couple have made a decision, we are in to sorting out the contracts and getting the act booked for the date.
Subsequent to that, it's about fielding queries and liaising with act and couple to answer questions. Nearer to the wedding date, I insist the act speak directly to the couple so that nothing gets missed and they can organise finer details like first dance etc.
What makes a romantic first dance?
I'm not sure romantic first dances are the best, I prefer when people choose something that they can dance to and everyone can sing along with them. I've had many were there has been a mashup of 2 tracks - they work quite well. I even had one personally where the groom asked us to pretend to mess the first dance up, and then kick in to an absolute banger!
What is your number one floor-filler?
Different bands will have different answers to this, for my particular band it would be either Eminem - Lose Yourself or our Queen Medley (including Bohemian Rhapsody)
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
David Bowie's - what it must have been like to watch him first hand change music and fashion on his own
