No wedding is the same as another, so the key is listening to what the couple want, and doing my best to achieve it. I start by taking some very basic details and framing a contract, but after that it's entirely up to the couple as to how much they want to customise the experience.
It has to have some emotional resonance or significance for the couple. Get that in place, and romance does the rest!
Solo pianists aren't really 'floor-fillers' by definition but when I play in a band situation, the answer to that question is definitely Superstition by Stevie Wonder.
