ABOUT ARIA STRING QUARTET Based in Northern Ireland, Aria String Quartet create unique soundscapes with a vast catalogue of music ranging from sublime classical music to energetic rock and pop. Specializing in Weddings, Corporate Events and session recordings, all of the members of the quartet have played with the biggest names in the industry including Michael Buble, Josh Grobin, Lady Gaga, Pink, Westlife, Jools Holland, Belle and Sebastian and Andrea Bocelli to name a few! As well as this the girls perform regularly with the country's leading professional orchestras. We are Alys and Niamh (violins), Coleen (viola) and Rozzie (cello). What is your most memorable wedding?

We have had so many, I love a summer wedding in the gardens of a beautiful venue like Larchfield Estate, we play outside while the guests mingle with their champagne and canopes. It is hard to beat a cosy winter wedding at Castle Leslie with the fires warming the guests while we play some Christmas favourites.

When it comes to the music only choose one piece to accompany the bridesmaids and the bride!!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I normally answer any emails or phone calls as soon as possible. I take all the relevant information so that I can provide the couple with a realistic quote for the day. From there it is very straightforward to book with a small deposit to secure your date. I am always available to have a chat about any music requests and I come up with ideas to curate the perfect soundtrack for the day!
