Arco String Quartet, Whitley Bay

Booking Arco String Duo was the best decision I made for our wedding. We initially booked the String duo for our ceremony but I decided to extend the booking to our drinks reception and I am so glad I did. I had great communication via email. They really cater to your individual day. The vibes from their live music were magical. All of our guests complimented their performance and I couldn't have imagined the day without them there.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Arco play at our wedding, and they were nothing short of incredible. From the moment the first note began, they set the most beautiful atmosphere and created memories we’ll treasure forever. Their music was heartfelt, and perfectly tailored to our ceremony. Guests were constantly complimenting how stunning they sounded, and it truly elevated the whole experience. They were also a joy to work with – professional, friendly, and attentive to all our requests.

I didn’t get a moment to speak to you at the wedding but thank you so much, it was just perfect. All the guests complimented the songs and I was really impressed with the breadth of choice you have. It was just flawless and I especially loved Watermelon Sugar and Waterloo Sunset.

The supplier we didn’t know we needed. Truly grateful we found Arco at a Wedding Fair. From first meeting them to booking to playing on the day it was an easy process and one I’d do again in a heartbeat. We decided to have them for our ceremony music and to cover our meal as well and it just flowed right with our day. We chose songs mainly from there movies/tv shows section and our guests loved it as much as we did! I’d 100% recommend booking Arco.

Arco played a mix of film, classical and modern music for us and set the scene so well for the day. My wife and I probably didn't get to experience all of what they played. We were carried away with the emotion the ceremony, having photos taken or mingling with our guests. But we loved what we did hear. The highlight for me was Concerning Hobbits which was the first track they played. Our guests were full of praise and some said they wished they had a string quartet at their wedding.

Thank you so much for Saturday. We had the most magical day, and walking out to hear Arco playing was one of my favourite parts. The arrangements of The Story and She’s a Rainbow were perfect. Several people told me how much they enjoyed the music.

We want to send a huge thank you to all of the quartet who played for our wedding. It definitely made our day special hearing the music we love performed live throughout the day, it was exactly how we had imagined our day and the music was not only amazing but so well timed, especially with an owl involved. Also, a huge thank you for learning "river flows in you" for me to walk down the aisle to. All our guests have mentioned how fantastic the music was and how they loved recognising the songs.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding, all of our guests have said how brilliant you were and how it added that special touch to our day! My partner himself wasn’t overly excited about it but said at the end of the day it was the best money we spent. I’ll recommend you to all friends and family that are getting married in the future for sure!

Just wanted to say thank you ever so much for playing at our special day! I’ve always dreamed of having a string quartet play at my wedding ever since I first heard Canon in D in my teens, and my dream came true! You were absolutely fabulous and the guests loved listening to the wonderful music. It was magical! Thank you for learning Give Me Everything, we have heard it so much since the big day and it will always remind us of our wedding. A truly special song.
