Annasach Ceilidh Band

The Annasach Ceilidh Band made the evening of our wedding in The Netherlands unforgettable, motivating Dutch and French feet alike to dance the Scottish steps. Even my 62-year-old aunt was on her feet all evening and remarked at the end that from now on, she only wants Scottish weddings. The band also dealt very professionally with some unforeseen circumstances, rebooking their own flights when their original flights were cancelled, taking a lot of stress away from us. I will happily recommend.

We had Annasach Ceilidh Band play for our daughters wedding at the Ptarmigan, Loch Insh. All of the guests thought the band were fantastic, they played mood music as guests arrived followed by a full on Ceilidh. The instrumentalist were amazing and the caller was friendly, funny and ensured we had a wonderful ceilidh.

You also managed to make my dad dance, who usually never does! I was truly amazed to see him on the dance floor. With your wonderful music you made the evening even more special and you created wonderful memories that we will bring forever in our hearts. I truly wish to meet you again and dance at the rhythm of your wonderful Scottish music. I have purchased your disc in iTunes as I am in love with your songs!

Annasach ceilidh band were extremely professional, friendly and were able to adapt to the demands of a wedding in France. The guests were all raving about the fun they had Ceilidh dancing. Trisha, the caller managed to talk the guests through the steps keeping it as simple as possible. This was appreciated by all the guests including the experienced and novice Ceilidh dancers.

Annasach played for our wedding in June 2018 near Livingston, where most of the guests were not regular ceilidh goers but almost all got up to give it a go! Thanks to the team for the rousing tunes and good calling, which made even the novices feel that they could join in the fun. We loved Auld Lang Syne at the end too - a brilliant end to our special day. Annasach were easy to deal with and professional from the beginning - we would definitely recommend them to others looking for a ceilidh band for their event. We look forward to attending one of their public ceilidhs again soon!

I would like to thank the members of the band for a wonderful evening. We hired them to play for a wedding blessing in the restaurant at Glenturret Distillery and they did a wonderful job. They were very entertaining and extremely professional. They should patience with the foreigners (and with a few of the Scots) taking the time to teach them the dances and help keep them on course. They are all very talented people and great at their jobs. I would thoroughly recommend them and would love to get them to America to play there.

A great night with Annasach at the National Museum of Scotland, at our daughter's wedding reception. Dances and music were perfectly geared towards a large Italian guest contingent, and everyone was up having a great time - a huge thank you!

Annasach played our wedding and despite having a bunch of amateurs attempting it they kept their spirits up. I honestly couldn't have hoped for a nicer, better, happier band to break the ice between two cultures. Would definitely book you all again and recommend you.
