What is your most memorable wedding?
There are so many, I just couldn't pick one!!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Magical, Impressive, Exclusive, Entertaining.....Pure Class!!
What about your business are you most proud of?
Its the unsaid things...the look on peoples faces when the wow factor kicks in. You just cant fake or buy that!!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Talk to us...have a meeting. I don't sell or ask for any decisions I just show you all that we can do / offer. If you like what we do then great.
Book early to ensure you get the services you want for your date. Finally don't believe all you see on the net. Some of the busiest DJs are infact good IT people (that list highly) & not necessarily good DJs (or DJs at all) & farm the work out. You will generally pay more for less if the company you choose pass their work onto other DJs as your paying a commission to them. Sometimes its portrayed as one of our DJs, when in reality its just farmed out & commission is taken. You book me you get me...at the meeting...at your event, its my company, I'm not paying commission then giving you less to make up for it knowingly or unknowingly in some cases. And that applies to all services.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
That's a simple one...Making people have a good time.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From your initial contact, we will return your call or email or message. If possible I like to meet you. This works both ways. You get to meet me & get to know me a little to realise I am very down to earth & approachable & vice versa. At the meeting I don't take the sales approach I just don't need too. I just show you what we do & all that we can offer. I will explain some of the things we do that really does make a difference. I am happy to answer any questions you may have & discuss any ideas you may have. At the end of the meeting I leave our price list with you. I will follow this up with an email if there are things you liked and want pricing up. ie: You liked the idea of having a certain number of uplighters in your venue because that's what's most suited to that particular venue.
Sometimes I have to go away & work out a price for things such as a Pea light Canopy. There are many factors that can change the price / quote so our follow up email will list everything individually that we discussed that you liked. You can then decide from the list what you may wish for us to provide within your budget assuming you wish to use our services.
This gives you chance to look at this get in touch at your own leisure. Weather you choose us or not you will certainly come away form our meeting with a vision of what you do & don't want that perhaps you didn't know about. That really is priceless & costs very little but WILL make such a difference to your day.
If you wish to use our services then let me know ASAP listing what you would like us to provide.
I will then confirm everything on an email to you. Any question that we don't have answers to will be highlighted in Red for your attention to provide to us once known.
At this stage we ask for a deposit & provide our payment details. Upon receiving payment this secures your date / booking with us.
Final payment is 2 weeks before the event date & again you will be contacted with our final invoice for this & a reminder of any outstanding information we require. You will be asked to confirm that all details are correct as that's what we will be working to on the day & we certainly don't want to get anything wrong. There is no second chance.
At any time along the process your more than welcome to ask questions, email me a music list have another meeting if needed.
(Where distance may be prohibitive of a meeting, why not give us a call (or we can call you back if you wish) for a chat. I will then confirm things in an email so you have things in writing to look back upon.
What makes a romantic first dance?
There are many things & we find people have different ideas on this, so I would discuss this with you.
Its your day...I'm just here to make it happen.
What is your number one floor-filler?
We find this varies. Sometimes its because a popular track has been released & everyone just loves it & the moment you play on the floor is full. Sometimes its a memorable one the Bride or Groom had on their Hen or Stag do. Some families just have a track that means something to them & there family & friends. AND......sometimes everything we play is a floor filler :-)
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
I'm going to say being a DJ not a band.... I love what I do.
What is the soundtrack to your life?
I genuinely don't have one. I love all types of music.
