If you are looking for a talented artist to brighten your wedding moments with soulful music, you have come to the right place! Alleya is a London-based classically trained violinist, who offers impressive, affordable, and reliable services for all types of special events. Alleya will deliver custom packages to create bespoke musical experiences. Alleya is a London-based musician and international violinist. Alleya has performed internationally in Rome, Monaco, Cork, the United States and the French alps. Having performed in a variety of luxury events and festivals, Alleya is a vibrant and captivating artist. She's worked on screen with The X Factor, the Lidl Christmas Campaign 2018 and television productions for Amazon Prime. In 2020, she toured with Rebecca Ferguson and So Solid Crew. Alleya is classically trained and began studies at the age of four, eventually attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earning a BFA in violin performance from the School of Music. Since relocating to London, she has worked as a freelance violinist across the UK and worldwide. Highlights of her work include orchestral performances at Royal Festival Hall, sharing stages with Rick Wakeman, Alfie Boe, Joyce El-Khoury and Michael Fabiano. Alleya frequently records in sessions at Abbey Road Studios and Metropolis Studios working with producers for Octavian, pop and rock acts, and recently a film soundtrack in Japan. In addition, Alleya performs as an LED electric violinist. She's experienced in playing solo, alongside DJs, with string ensembles and touring bands. She has also worked in groups for choreographed shows. She performs with a wireless to allow roaming and audience interaction for an exciting atmosphere. Alleya enjoys playing many genres like pop, drum and bass, house, hip-hop, R&B, and more. Alleya has performed at festivals opening for arists such as Craig Charles and Run The Jewels.

Violinist on Recording Project

I was first introduced to Alleya via a colleague, during the creation of, ‘Inspirations From My Imagination’, which was my final university project and my first commercial release. I did not know it at the time, but Alleya would become one of my most important collaborators during the project, who I have referred to as ‘The Unsung Star’ of the EP. Not only did she perform on 3 of the 4 tracks (all of which were in very different genres) but she put together the other string players who formed the string quartet that performed on one of the tracks, something she did entirely of her own accord and for which I still remain very grateful. Despite all my stresses with the project, I loved working with Alleya. She has been exceptionally helpful in making corrections and improvements to the violin parts which I have sent to her, for the EP, as there can be issues that make the original score unplayable in parts, which is a common problem when writing music electronically. She continues to do this with my more recent compositions. Alleya is a very talented and knowledgeable violinist who is kind, helpful and professional, as well as being incredibly patient. She can perform in various genres of music with equal measures of brilliance. It was an absolute honour for me to collaborate with her on this EP and I look forward to the next major collaboration with her.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Multi-cultural weddings are always fun! I once played a wedding that combined Americana roots with Russian heritage, and we performed as a 1920's traditional bluegrass group while the bride rode down the aisle on a horse!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Try to plan your wedding day so that you don't have to work, you've worked so hard to get there, just enjoy!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I once played a wedding that was themed around the couples favourites shows and games. Every guest was at a table, one being 'Mario', another 'Pokemon', 'Sailor Moon' and so on, and every guest had a cupcake with a character on it. So cute!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We provide packages and services to suit individual specifications. Our repertoire includes various genres like classical, Pop, film music, House, and Pop House. We perform for various wedding moments including wedding ceremony music for bridal entry, signing of register, (acoustic violin/electric violin with backing tracks), and for drinks receptions, and dinner. We also play LED violin with DJ.

I am happy to meet with couples either in person or via phone/e-mail. After confirming availability for dates, we establish whether the couple would like a solo player or a group. We can provide 1-4 players and occasionally larger groups if requested. From there we look at what parts of the day the couple would like music, determining length of sets and booking. This helps create a custom package as every wedding is different. While we have a library of music prepared, the couple can also make specific song requests and genres to accomplish setting their desired scene. To fully confirm a booking, we request a deposit. We will then send a questionaire to iron out all details so that we can take care of everything music related and you can enjoy your wedding!

What makes a romantic first dance?

When everyone is prepared to lend their attention to the couple, and for a moment it feels they are the only ones in the room.
