When we got married to our respective partners!
High-energy, vibrant, versatile, fun, dynamic
Andy is thrilled to have built up the business completely independently over the last two years. Having worked in entertainment on and off for so many years, it took a big leap to establish the company in 2021, but we are thrilled to have recently reached 50 5* reviews combined between Facebook and Google, for the varied services we offer.
Try and plan early! Finding and deciding on your favourite musicians, caterers, venue etc just makes everything so much easier to plan.
Andy recently attended a wedding where the tables for the wedding breakfast were all named after towns and cities from works of fiction that the bride and groom enjoyed- a lovely subtle way of signalling their shared interests!
From the initial enquiry, we will schedule in a phone or Zoom call so that we can establish what your requirements are for the wedding. Once we have had this informal chat, Andy will set up a bespoke quote for you, based on your requirements for the day. We will then send out a form for you to fill in with all the basic information we require in order to set up the date on our calendar, and create a booking agreement. This can be confirmed online, and once this is done, we will send an invoice to make your deposit payment, which will be 30% of the overall booking cost. Deposits are refundable with at least 30 days notice before the event.
Closer to the date, we will be in touch again to confirm final details and enquire about your favourite songs and any specific ones you would like us to learn before the event. You'll also receive an invoice to make the final balance payment around a week before the wedding, so that this can all be dealt with before the event and you don't have to worry about anything else on the day!
During the event, we will arrive at least an hour before our scheduled start time, in order to get set up.
Anything that means something to the happy couple! Some people enjoy the slow and sweet songs, but Andy recently DJ'd at a wedding where the first dance was "Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Khan. An unusual choice but the couple loved it!
Anything by Abba usually drags everyone to the dance floor. "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" also goes down well, and at the more recent end of the spectrum, songs like "Sex on Fire" and "Chelsea Dagger" are brilliant.
This is a tough question! We love the big stadium bands like Coldplay, Muse, and acts like Elton John, who love to put on a show. That all seems like so much fun!
At the moment, it's the big rock classics like Mr Brightside and Livin' on a Prayer.
