I recommend without Hesitation I don't live in Reading where I was organizing a wedding, so I relied on reviews and early conversations to choose a DJ. An added awkwardness was that we wanted specific music at particular times and to compliment a mariachi band. No mean feat. Stephen was absolutely wonderful. He kept in touch in the lead up to the date. But he really came into his own on party night. He was the voice of calm when the band were late and asked for direction without causing more anxiety. The clarity of sound was fantastic and the volume just right. The light show was pretty fab too. I would 100% recommend A1 Light and Sound for any event. Fantastic ! Steve is a fantastic DJ and he really made my wedding evening one of the best ever. He did a really clever mix of the tracks I'd asked for with some of his own. He was very adaptable on the night to how the evening was going and any requests I or my guests made. I am so fussy about music so it is a real credit to him that he kept me happy and didn't mind my constant interference ! I couldn't recommend more, thank you.

A great disco for any occasion The DJ was flexible with timings of set up allowing the transition of the reception for our wedding to the disco to run seemlessly. The lighting and sound was just right for the venue and overall the atmosphere created was great.

Brilliant night of dancing “Steve ensured that we had a totally brilliant evening. He was extremely professional, perfectly judging the mood of the room and knowing when to play what. At his suggestion, we provided a list of our top 20 tracks to play, which allowed him to choose exactly the right kind of music for our party and kept us on the dance floor all night. I would not hesitate to recommend him!”
