What is your most memorable wedding?
Would have to be my own, just last year in the Carpathian mountains. We were certainly the best dressed grooms party.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Classic, tailored, cashmere, individual, interesting
What about your business are you most proud of?
The list of happy customers
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't scrimp on the groom. He deserves to look good too...and his suit gets worn for many years after, unlike the dress!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The Milanese button hole...its the small things that make the big impressions!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
1.5hr - 2hr initial consultation: Measurements taken, fabrics chosen, detailing decided. 5-6 weeks later 2nd fitting any alterations made and suit delivered
What are your favourite wedding traditions for men?
Tricky one, probably the stag night.
What is the best way to make the groomsmen stand out from the crowd?
Pocket squares, simple, yet effective....and of course a well made suit!
Why is groomswear just as important as bridalwear?
Because a wedding is the coming together of 2 people, the bride and the GROOM. Both deserve to look and feel their best. Plus the suit can be worn again and again, recreating the memories and confidence. I have seen so many photos where the groom looks like an extra, rather than the main star.
What is the most original outfit you have seen a groom wear?
We see so many. I particularly loved the red velvet double breasted with back plaid trouser. The cashmere Prince of Wales check in electric blue and the white tux with satin black lapel are probably the most memorable. All looked amazing and suited the groom immensly
