During this relaxed, one-on-one appointment, you will have the opportunity to explore an extensive selection of premium fabric swatches, colours, and patterns and discuss every aspect of detailing and customisation, including lapel styles, button choices, pocket designs, linings, functional cuffs, monogramming, and embroidery options. During the in-person consultation, once you’ve explored the fabric options and finalised your preferred details, your tailor will take a complete set of precise measurements — from ankle to neck and everything in between. These detailed measurements ensure your suit is crafted to your exact proportions, delivering a flawless fit that feels comfortable and looks impeccable. You’ll be asked to try on the completed suit (jacket, trousers, and waistcoat if included), while the tailor carefully observes how it sits and moves with your natural posture, proportions, and stance. Even with perfect earlier measurements, subtle nuances often appear only now. They’ll discuss any necessary tweaks with you — perhaps adjusting sleeve or trouser length, refining the waist, perfecting hems, or making minor structural corrections. If adjustments are needed, the suit will be taken away for these final refinements which are most often completed within a couple of days before the suit is redelivered for a final fitting.

FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Martyn Fords wedding to Sacha featuring Eddie Hall (World's Strongest Man winner) served as best man, adding a fun, strongman vibe to the celebrations.

The couple had been together for years before tying the knot (they got engaged in September 2018 at Disneyland), and their relationship has been a source of inspiration for many fans—emphasizing support, love, and resilience through life's ups and downs.

Martyn praised Noble Fox in a 2019 review right around his wedding period, calling it "the most incredible service and suit I've ever had" for top-level quality at great prices.

What is the most original outfit you have seen a groom wear?

One of the most original groom outfits I've come across is from a groom who was a graphic designer. He had his wedding suit custom-lined with something truly personal and sentimental: all the text messages he and his bride exchanged before their first date.

He typeset the entire conversation and had it printed onto silk fabric to create a bespoke lining. From the outside, it was a sharp, classic suit—nothing flashy or over-the-top—but when the jacket opened (like during photos, the first look, or even just a subtle reveal), it told their unique love story in the most intimate, hidden way. It's clever, romantic, and deeply meaningful without screaming for attention.

Why is groomswear just as important as bridalwear?

While the bride's gown often steals the spotlight—and rightfully so, as it's a breathtaking symbol of her personal style, dreams, and the magic of the day—groomswear is every bit as important, not in competition with brideswear, but as its perfect complement. Here's why the groom's attire matters just as much, framed in a way that celebrates and elevates the bride:

A beautifully dressed groom acts as the ideal frame for the bride's radiance. When his suit or tuxedo is thoughtfully chosen—matching the formality, season, and overall aesthetic of the wedding—it creates visual harmony that makes her look even more stunning. A sharp, well-fitted look in coordinating colors (like a classic charcoal or navy suit with accents that echo her gown's details) draws the eye to her as the glowing centerpiece, while ensuring the couple appears cohesive and intentionally styled together.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

My No.1 wedding planning tip for couples in the UK right now (as of February 2026) is this: Prioritise what truly matters to you both as a couple—your shared values, story, and joy—above trends, expectations, or trying to please everyone else.

Start by sitting down together soon after getting engaged (ideally before bombarding suppliers or scrolling endless Pinterest boards) to dream big and get properly aligned: What vibe do you want the day to have? What elements feel uniquely yours? Where are you happy to splash out because it genuinely excites you (like top-notch food if you're foodies, stunning florals, or a cracking band), and where can you cut back without any regrets? This honest chat creates a solid foundation, helps avoid later budget blowouts, and keeps the whole process enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

My absolute favorite personal touch I've come across at a wedding, when it comes to bespoke suits and tailoring, is a groom who commissioned a fully custom silk jacket lining printed with a collage of meaningful elements from his relationship: handwritten love notes they'd exchanged over the years, tiny photos from their early dates, coordinates of where they first met, and even subtle motifs from the bride's engagement ring design and her favorite flowers. From the outside, the suit was impeccably classic—sharp navy wool with perfect tailoring that complemented the bride's gown beautifully—but when the jacket opened for photos, hugs, or that emotional first look, it revealed this intimate, hidden love story that was visible only to those closest.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once you submit your details, your dedicated personal tailor will promptly reach out to you via the contact number provided to begin the process.

In this initial conversation, your tailor will take the time to understand your vision for the suit — discussing the occasion, your preferred style, and any specific ideas you have in mind. They will also provide a clear, comprehensive overview of our full bespoke process, including timelines, craftsmanship stages, and what to expect at each step.

Following this, your tailor will arrange a convenient in-person visit at your preferred location — whether at your home, office, or our studio.

What are your favourite wedding traditions for men?

Many grooms particularly cherish wedding traditions that give them meaningful moments of connection, celebration, and personal expression. The bachelor party stands out as a favorite, offering a fun, bonding experience with the best man and groomsmen—whether it's an adventurous outing or a relaxed gathering to toast the end of single life. Grooms also love giving personalized gifts to their groomsmen, such as custom flasks or engraved items, as a heartfelt way to show appreciation and strengthen those friendships. The mother-son dance is often deeply emotional, providing a tender, tear-jerking highlight that honors that special bond. Delivering the groom's speech at the reception is another beloved tradition, giving him the chance to express gratitude to family and friends while sharing humor and love for his bride.

What is the best way to make the groomsmen stand out from the crowd?

  1. Use one standout element everyone wears but guests won't: bold pocket squares (e.g., in a vibrant accent color tying to the bouquet), oversized or thematic boutonnieres (wild florals, feathers, or heirloom-style for 2026's expressive vibe), or coordinated suspenders/ties in patterns/textures. Dress them in the same palette (navy/charcoal, sage/earth tones, or soft neutrals trending now), but allow slight differences in cuts/textures for personality. Add matching shirts, vests, or ties—no guest will match that level.Make boutonnieres the hero: larger, colorful, or unique (e.g., jewel-toned or textured for 2026 fashion-forward edge). Guests rarely wear them, so matching ones scream "wedding party."
