Enjoy yourselves. It is going to be the best day, enjoy the build up and planning part!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A burger van! Not to everyone's taste but the couple met at a burger van, both love a burger so for them, on their day, it was perfect!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Meet up for a consultation where we discuss the ideas they might have already, discuss fabrics, style and price taking into consideration the venue and theme of the wedding. Once a decision has been made on what the couple would like we have a meet up to measure the suit wearers and confirm all suit details. Approx 8 weeks later we have a first fitting of your suit, if any adjustments need to made we have a second fitting approx 2 weeks later.
What are your favourite wedding traditions for men?
The first is the groom not seeing the dress, I believe this should be seen for the first time when the bride is walking down the aisle. Secondly the fact that all men should keep their jackets on until the best man declares they can be removed. I'm a traditionalist at heart!
What is the best way to make the groomsmen stand out from the crowd?
A Made to Measure suit!
Why is groomswear just as important as bridalwear?
It helps to tie in the whole wedding. You are only a strong as your weakest link, don't let that be the groomswear. The pictures of your wedding will last a lifetime so it's important to get it right.
What is the most original outfit you have seen a groom wear?
Tailored shorts for a wedding in a Cypriot summer. The attention to detail for the rest of the outfit had to be spot on for the 8 guys and it was. Looked superb.
