What is your most memorable wedding?
We are lucky to have been involved in so many beautiful and unique weddings over the years so this is a really tough question to answer! One of the most memorable events in recent times was a tipi wedding with all the trimmings. Held in a family garden on a beautiful midsummer day, guests were invited to dress in their most glamorous, Oscars inspired attire and the bride wore a black couture gown. With THOUSANDS of fairy lights, sparkly hanging pompoms and huge floral centerpieces, the tipis looked simply magnificent.

What about your business are you most proud of?
A significant proportion of our growth has come from word of mouth recommendations. This means a huge amount to us as it reassures us that we are getting things right, and that all of our hard work is paying off.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Let your creativity run wild. The tipis provide a wonderful blank canvas to work with, which can be dressed up to suit any theme you have in mind, or left alone to create a beautiful backdrop to a glorious celebration.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are far too many to limit it to one! We have seen everything from homemade wedding favours, seating plans based on the couples' love stories, bride & groom arriving at the reception in grandpa's vintage car, wooden platters made from a fallen oak on family land and flowers from local hedgerows. We could go on...
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Although we have held many hundreds of weddings in the tipis, we realise that every customer has a unique set of ideas and requirements. This is why a dedicated Event Co-ordinator is assigned to each customer, and works with them from receiving the initial enquiry to the take down of the tipis, ensuring that the little details are never overlooked.
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
One of the benefits of our gorgeous giant Nordic tipis is that the structures themselves provide a beautifully atmospheric space, with very little in the way of decor. The natural wooden poles, canvas, and the shape of the structure alone give you all the ambience you need for a super celebration. If you have a particular look or feel in mind for your wedding the structures work beautifully with most styling themes. Add an open fire, festoon and fairy lights, bunting or foliage and you can create the perfect atmosphere for your big day!
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
Oh so many stunning places! Cliff tops, woodland clearings, beside beaches and in the gardens of beautiful stately homes - the possibilities are (almost) endless!
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
We never race to get pitch our tipis. We take time to make sure that they are safe, secure and weatherproof.
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
Out tipis, because they are just so beautiful.
