Bringing you all the freedom of the outdoors, our beautiful Nordic tipis are spacious and utterly unique. Constructed using wooden poles and light-coloured canvas, we can provide you with a space that’s perfect for your number of guests, be it 50 or 300! We have set up more than 1,000 tipis to date, and have worked at 100s of locations throughout Ireland, with our home venue near to Belfast, Finnebrogue Woods, also now available. They made the planning experience super easy!

We had Ed and his team set up 3 giant hats for a wedding we had in Avon Ri Blessingthon on 12th and 13th of August . I couldn't of been happier with Ed and Laura right from the start , they made the planning experience super easy ,which i had been dreading as i was a bit lost before I met Ed , who was so obliging and understanding in helping us choose decorations and extras that suited our needs... he definitely tried to suit us rather than "up-sell" which so many companies do. The extras we chose came in so handy on the day, and the tipis looked stunning and everybody commented on how well it looked. 5 stars all round, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thanks again Laura and Ed for an exceptional job done!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Ben and Jordan's recent wedding at Finnebrogue Woods... a creative and relaxed affair nestled in an Oak forest, with a ceremony by the lake, garden games, retro gin bar, and incredible photography!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

We're loving macrame backdrops at the moment!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We initially want to hear all your ideas and hopes for your day, and at this stage can offer assistance in finding a perfect venue. We then look to set up an opportunity for you to view the tipis, and then once you've fallen in love with the tipis and your dream location... we would arrange a site visit to make sure that everything is looking good, and the space is adequate for the tipis (we need a grass surface to pitch). Then we look to design a set up which suits the numbers you are thinking of, and any furniture, decor, lighting etc, and put together costs for you. We will work with you until we reach a plan that works to your budget as well as your ambitions! Once we we've gt the best approach we can book your wedding in with a 25% deposit, and then the remaining costs need to paid one month before the day. In the run up to the wedding, especially in the final six months we are at hand to help you finalise your plans, create a floor plan for you, and consult on recommended suppliers.

How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?

We create ambience in many ways within the tipi... an open fireplace, reindeer skins, Moroccan furniture, fairy light panels, beautiful chandeliers, elegant foilage installations, and also boho macrame decorations.

Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?

Just yards away from a cliff edge on the west coast of ireland!

What is your record time for putting up your marquee?

Our traditonal nordic tipis cannot be rushed, and involve a skilled team of at least 3 people (a very friendly bunch). It normally takes half a day, or up to a full day.

What is your favourite design of marquee and why?

We have also enjoyed a less exposed, six tipi 'donut' set up at Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Players' Party. We have more recently launched our Firecracker, a seven tipi space, which is fully enclosed!
