Here at Great British Bell Tents we pride ourselves on delivering a warm, friendly and professional services throughout your time with us. As we are a small (but perfectly formed!) business we generally only cater for one wedding per weekend, so you can be assured that you will have our undivided attention on the lead up to your big day!

We were totally blown away with our Bell Tent for our wedding, it was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. We booked the Bridal Suite, It was so amazing it became a feature of our wedding with almost everyone going to have a sneaky peak at how beautiful it was. It might have been the most photographed thing at our wedding (even more than us!) All the gorgeous small touches, AND the bed was MEGA comfy.. the bedding was beautiful and the décor was so pretty. From the moment I contacted Kieran at GBBT he was super friendly and really easy to deal with, prompt in getting back to you. I would highly recommend you booking one for your special occasion. We also booked two others for our guests and they loved it too.. Great service.. Thanks Kieran - we'll definitely be back to book again and recommending you to all our friends!.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Prepare for it to rain (sorry!).

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love it when a table plan has a theme that is special to the couple, especially if it music themed. I enjoy looking at the different bands and thinking which one I would like to be seated at (If I ever get an invite!).

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We aim to be as helpful and flexible as possible. We want to take as much stress out of the process as possible, so if there is something we can do to alleviate that stress, we will do our best to help.

How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?

Being a lover of the great outdoors and active camper, for me our Bell Tents have to look great but also offer a degree of practicality. Yes, a stack of vintage suitcases looks great but are you going to use them? With our Elite Suite range, each tent is styled differently but all with a British theme in mind, these include our Beach Suite, Country Retreat Suite and our Out of Africa Suite. I mean, what is more British than going on Safari?!

Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?

We are very lucky as we get to travel around the beautiful countryside and erect tents in country mansions and stately homes but I am still partial to a lush field, in the middle of nowhere, knowing that the wedding will be going on until the small hours of the morning!

What is your record time for putting up your marquee?

The glory with our Bell Tents is that they only have two poles and a dozen pegs to put them up. So you can erect one in under 10 minutes. It is the decorating that takes the time. I certainly would not encourage my staff to rush this part as we want everything to be perfect ; )

What is your favourite design of marquee and why?

The fact they only have two poles and go up so quickly! This means we can usually get home before its dark!
