You can never go wrong with table cards and a table seating plan board.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We have a set process when hiring with us so we do not miss anything. In quick terms we firstly get as much information on the wedding, expectations, setting, theme and needs. We have a gallery where couples can get inspiration and ideas of what they may want, taking inspiration and creating what their wedding will look like. Once we have established this we then put time into building multiple quotes with images and possible layouts of the tents. After showing the quotes and getting feedback making some changes we then move to a site visit if this has not been carried out previously to discuss in person and show what the physical layout may look like. Once everything is sorted out we then move to closer to the date when we will contact you to check everything is on track and update to where we are. Working with other suppliers to finalise everything.
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
Heating is an overlooked essential as people must be warm to feel comfortable, along with a lounge area including a bar and couches.
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
As we do love our golf, it has to be at a local golf course in Edinburgh.
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
We do not measure the time it takes to erect a marquee as we have a process to get everything correct every time which can be time consuming. However 1.5hrs for a 6x12m and a few extras..
What is your favourite design of marquee and why?
My personal favourite design of marquee is the 6m wide clearspan marquee with wooden flooring and panoramic window panels. Stunning in its simplicity.
