What is your most memorable wedding?
How can you ask us such a difficult question?
I am often lucky enough to be there on the big day, so for me each wedding is so memorable, sometimes for the most tiny of detail.
The floral ladder installation into our beautiful sailcloth cloth tent that took mictulous planning and a lot of holding our breathe as it was gently
The look of pure love as the groom catches the brides eye as he first sees her walking down the aisle….
The look on the guests faces as they arrive to their first ever wedding in a Tipi,….
The brides smile as she sees the tipis for the first time on the day in their full glory, all her work come together, the sense of pride that she has created this amazing space, and is surrounded by all the people she loves….
This list is endless!!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do it for yourselves! This is your big day and there are NO rules (apart from the legal bit obviously!!)
Escape the traditions and make it all about what the 2 of you want, simple!!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
For me it’s about the little things. Be as personal as possible, forget the sugared almonds….make it all about you and your guests!
My favourite one that springs to mind is on sending out the invites the bride and groom requested each guest to send them a piece of fabric which meant something to them.
The mother of the bride then made bunting for the tipis using everyones fabric…it's those little touches thats guests won’t ever forget.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
There is no typical process for us. Our customer service is bespoke to suit the needs of each couple.
By the time the big day arrives we may have had 2 site visits, exchanged 100 emails and had 20 phone conversations with some brides, others it's just a handful of emails, it really does depend on the couple.
For us, as long as the couple (and often their families) knows we are here 24/7 for them, no matter how small the queries, question, detail...
How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?
We are fortunate enough to be providing our customers with the most beautiful structures.
For both the Tipis and the sailcloth less is definitely more. The design, space, ambiance of both the Tipis and sailcloth definitely give the WOW factor.
The simplicity of their structure takes your breathe away. For me, its all about the lighting. Fairy lights, festoons, chandeliers and mirror balls……lighting is key.
Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?
Mount Etna- Sicily!
What is your record time for putting up your marquee?
We have put up two tipis in a hotel courtyard for a surprise event (whilst the guests were off-site) in three hours.
