They provide stunning alternatives to traditional frame marquees that allow you to enjoy your chosen vista. They give you a beautiful back drop and look great in any location, from perfectly manicured lawns and gardens to lush green fields in the countryside. The beauty of Coastal Tents is the flexibility, you can style them just as you wish, whether you are looking for that laid back festival feel or a more elegant and stylish affair. The Tipis are made out of solid wooden poles grown in the cold forests of Sweden and a light tan-coloured canvas. They provide you with shade on a hot summers day or a warm and cosy atmosphere (with real log fires!) on a cold winters eve. The translucent sailcloth tent allows natural light to enhance daylight hours and glows brilliantly when lit for the evening. One of the lovely features of these tents is the panoramic sidewalls. The walls can be easily rolled up (or down) to suit your needs allowing you and your guests to enjoy your chosen view in comfort and style. Coastal Tents was founded by a husband and wife team who had a tipi wedding. They have over 10 years of experience working in the events industry ranging from Royal banquets and festivals to major sporting events and private parties. They are truly passionate about creating your perfect wedding scene and will give you a personal service to make sure your event is everything you dreamed of.

We were lucky enough to come across Coastal Tents

We were lucky enough to come across Coastal Tents at a bridal event whilst planning our wedding. We hadn’t planned on having a tipi but when we saw them up and decorated we fell in love with them. Carla and Owen were so friendly and professional the whole way through to our wedding day, they worked really well with the venue respecting their wishes on when the tipi needed to be set up/taken down and did so extremely efficiently. I could not recommend them as a service more and having the tipi was one of our favourite aspects of our day.

Coastal Tents were amazing from start to finish

Coastal Tents were amazing from start to finish. Carla and Owen were so helpful and we were always super confident that everything was all planned and organised and we could relax. We had the Sailcloth tent and 1 tipi, as well as lots of their add ons. It all looked fantastic and everyone commented. At night with their lighting the tents look even better. Coastal tents also have a great team working for them for the set up day. I believe the fact that they are an independent family run business, you will get an amazing bespoke service and they really want your day to be as amazing as you do. Owen and Carla were an absolute dream to work with

Owen and Carla were an absolute dream to work with from the moment we met them at the BIC wedding show. Always accommodating to our ideas for our tipi wedding and quick responses with emails, which when you are planning a DIY wedding at home makes the process enjoyable. I loved going to their wedding shows to see how the tipis were dressed and to get some inspiration for our big day. When the wedding came, we were blessed with the weather and Owen and the team came and put the tipi’s up in super hot and sunny conditions and worked hard all day, and even came back out the next day to check something that we were unsure of. To see their tipis all set up in our garden was a dream and a real wow factor to our wedding. If you are thinking of a tipi wedding/event then go with coastal tents, you won’t be disappointed with the service they provide throughout and their beautiful tents.
