Claremont Marquees have been hiring out marquees and associated equipment for over 25 years. Today our clients range from the family next door to top designer labels and merchant banks; most of our work comes through recommendation, or from clients who return to us year after year. The best materials are used in our marquees ensuring modern safety standards are achieved. Hire stock is stored and maintained in a newly refurbished warehouse to ensure it reaches you in prime condition. Even so, a marquee is only as good as the team that erects it; our staff are dedicated, hard working, and highly experienced. Free consultations and individual quotations ensure that we fully understand your requirements. Detailed order confirmations mean you know exactly what to expect; nearer the time we fix convenient delivery and collection schedules, and fine tune any other arrangements. We are able to provide everything else you need to make your event a success from awnings, furniture, carpets, dance floors and linings to lighting and heating. Whilst we cannot cater or sing and dance, we are happy to help by recommending other experts to take care of these aspects of your party.

Wow what a weekend we had

Wow – what a weekend we had. From your set up on Thursday to the take down on Sunday, we had the most amazing time. A massive thank you to you for transforming a patch of lawn in to the most stunning place to celebrate Christiana and Jamie’s wedding. I am so glad we had the transparent end over the dance floor – it really did feel that we were dancing outside under the stars yet protected from the odd lashing of rain! Talk to us- through out the run up to your wedding no questions is a silly question.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We provide a quote for the couple based on information they provide on the initial contact. We then arrange a free no obligation site visit where we view the site and run through the quote and check that the marquee is suitable for the couples needs. We request a 20% deposit to secure the marquee. In the run up to the wedding we will have conversations with the caterer etc to check that everything is in place for them so on the wedding day everything runs smoothly.

What is your record time for putting up your marquee?

We have worked in venues with restrictions for erecting and removal of the marquees. We do prefer to be able to build a marquee for a wedding a day or two prior to the wedding day to allow the couple to add their personal touches and allow caterers etc time to set up.

What is your favourite design of marquee and why?

We like the clear span marquees as they do not have any centre poles so everyone in the marquee has a clear view of the happy couple.
